It's a very sad end to an era. The Wendy Williams Show is officially over after 13 years in syndication. I know over the years Wendy may have offended many of her guests on her radio and TV shows with her "trending topics" and general conversations with guests, but in my heart I feel like she meant no harm, that was her niche, that's what made her popular and different from other broadcasters.
However, I didn't always agree with what she had to say or the way she presented the information, but she is a radio Hall of Famer and has had one of the most successful broadcasting careers. Nobody knows what Wendy is really going through, although she has been very transparent about her health issues and addictions.
I pray she gets well on all levels and that one day she can return to the airwaves if that's what she desires. She appears to be a very strong and determined woman and with the right people around her, I think she can get back to doing what she loves most. On Friday the final original episode of The Wendy Williams Show will air with a video tribute to the iconic host.
