One of the biggest music festivals in the country takes place in Chicago this weekend. Lollapalooza is back and thousands are expect to attend the four-day festival. Beginning today and running through Sunday, there will be eight stages with more than 170 performances.
The festival brings a nice mix of different genres of music to The Chi, where festival-goers can hear anything from Rock to Heavy Metal to Hip Hop to EDM. Expect heavy traffic in the downtown area, especially around Grant Park where the Festival is.
There is a good thing though, this festival is definitely a money maker for the city.
