Today is the day we elect officials who will be in office for the next four years and who will be making decisions on laws and policies on the local, state and federal levels. Exercise your right to vote and remember these tips when at the polls, according to the ACLU:
- Stay in line if you're at the polls when the polls close.
- Ask for a new ballot if you make a mistake.
- Request in-person assistance if you need it.
- As a last resort, fill out a provisional ballot.
