It's been confirmed, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is a one-term mayor for the city of Chicago.
With about 99 percent of the precincts reporting, the mayor came in third place in Tuesday's election with just over 17 percent of the vote. Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson had more than 20 percent of the vote putting him in second place. And former CEO of Chicago Public Schools Paul Vallas was the leader with just under 34 percent of the vote.
Who will run the city of Chicago as mayor? We have a few weeks to do some research and decide because there will be a runoff of who will sit in City Hall on April 4th.
