It's been three days since Tommy Richman delivered his smash hit "Million Dollar Baby," and he's already dominating streaming services everywhere.

Rap fans all around the country are currently obsessed with the Virginia native's new single. The infectious instrumental — which was produced by Max Vossberg, Jonah Roy, Mannyvelli, Sparkheem & Kavi — begins with a funky, bass-filled build-up that leads into a high-pitched chorus about chasing the girl of his dreams.

"I could clean up good for you/Oh, I know right from wrong," Richman croons in the chorus. "'Cause I want make it, so badly/A million dollar baby"

Richman first previewed the track in a grainy video he posted to social media post over a week ago. The post got millions of views on TikTok and even inspired a VHS version of the song, which has the crackly, blown-out-speaker quality fans have come to love. Both versions of the song have garnered over 1 million views on YouTube since it dropped last Friday.

Some fans are just discovering Tommy Richman now, but he's been a rising star in the music industry for the past eight years. The multifaceted singer, who's range extends from alternative to R&B, dropped his first single "Ballin' Stalin" in 2016. He followed up with other genre-bending songs like "Pleasantville," which arrived in 2019, and his 2021 track "Ice Kream Truck." In 2022, Richman released his first EP Paycheck featuring his stand-out track "Star Girl."

Last year, Tommy Richman reached new heights in his career after he inked a new deal with Brent Faiyaz's creative agency, ISO Supremacy, and PULSE Records. PULSE was established last June as a partnership between PULSE Music Group and Concord. Shortly after the ink dried, Richman delivered his ISO debut THE RUSH and appeared on Brent Faiyaz's Larger Than Life album last December. Since then, the 24-year-old has debuted songs like "Soulcrusher," "What Do U Like" and "Selfish."

“I’m grateful and amazed at the support from Brent, ISO Supremacy, and the team at PULSE Records, which motivates me," Richman said in a statement. "To have the opportunity to open for Brent on his sold-out tour is an absolute honor and to sign to PULSE Records, a creative community that really understands music and supports artists, I couldn’t ask for more."

“My partnership with PULSE Music Group since Day 1 has been transformative," Faiyaz said. "In launching my new label ISO Supremacy and partnering with PULSE Records, we’ve created this platform to give artists like Tommy Richman a creative home with the ability to scale global impact and a team that is accessible who keeps creativity at the forefront. We’re going to continue to make history."

With the success of "Million Dollar Baby" under his belt, Tommy Richman is finally getting the flowers and notoriety he deserves. Listen to the song below.
