Today is Record Store Day… a day celebrating the unique culture of record stores and the people who love and collect vinyl. For those of us who grew up with record stores as the main hangout of our teenage years, it’s also a little nostalgic.
This celebration has been going on for over 10 years now and independent record stores all over the world celebrate with in-store performances, special pricing and special releases, including Prince, David Bowie, Madonna and the 25th anniversary release of Common’s “Can I Borrow A Dollar?”
