Lots of outdoor fun this weekend... and a lot of it is free!
Bantu Fest is happening on Midway Plaisance today until 10pm… it’s a free festival celebrating diversity with unity & love with over 20 different countries representeded like South Africa, Haiti, Belize, Jamaica, Nigeria, Ghana, Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and more. Recording artist Amara La Negra (from Love and Hip Hop Miami) performs tonight!
If you’re a margarita fan, head to Navy Pier to sip to your heart’s content at Chicago Margarita Festival. There will be live music, dancing and tastings to keep the party going. Advance sales are over but their website says they will be selling limited tickets at the gate… the next tasting starts tonight at 7pm and tomorrow’s session begins at noon.
& Get your step on tonight under the stars with Chicago SummerDance in Grant Park at the Spirit of Music Garden right off Michigan Avenue and Balbo. There’s a lesson at 6pm and dancing begins at 7:30pm. It’s all free and open to the public.
