We now know the cause of death in the May passing of actress Margot Kidder, best known for her role as "Lois Lane" in "Superman."
The coroner's office says it was suicide... an intentional alcohol and drug overdose. The actress had a long and public struggle with bipolar disorder.
According to TMZ, her family wanted to be "open and honest" about the cause of her death to avoid a "cloud of shame."
Blessings to her family... Margot Kidder was 69.
