You know how it seems like every day is a “holiday” for something? I’m jumping on that bandwagon – even as we head into the biggest holiday season of the year – because, why shouldn’t we celebrate everyday like it’s a holiday?
I did a little research and found out that today is National Adoption Day… a day that started in 2000 to raise awareness and finalize adoptions for the thousands of children in foster care, waiting for permanent, loving families. As an adopted kid myself, I’m so grateful for the amazing parents and family that chose me… so this is a big deal holiday for me.
