It’s time to VOTE again! The historic run-off election between Lori Lightfoot and Toni Preckwinkle to become Chicago's first African-American woman mayor will happen Tuesday, April 2nd... and early voting has already begun!
You can vote right now at the Loop Super Site at 175 W. Washington. They’re open now (if you’re downtown kicking it for St. Patrick’s Day, why not? Or wait, maybe not! LOL)… ward voting sites open in Chicago’s neighborhoods beginning this Monday 3/18. You can also still register to vote in the run-off at all voting sites. (Find all the info on early voting here.)
Also remember that this is not just a run-off for mayor… it’s also for city treasurer and aldermen in 15 wards. Here's a list of all the candidates who are up for election, if you're not sure who they are and if your ward is affected.
These are decisions to put people in office who really could affect your life… so VOTE!
