What's Happening This Weekend (Memorial Day Holiday Edition)

Lots to do this Memorial Day Weekend… set the tone for the rest of your summer right now!

Start it off today by honoring the true reason for this holiday weekend and pay tribute to our fallen military service members... the city's wreath-laying ceremony is at 11am at Daley Plaza today, followed by our Memorial Day Parade stepping off at noon from Lake & State Street downtown, traveling south on State to Van Buren.

Tonight is the V103 90’s Kickback Concert at the Chicago Theatre… starring Dru Hill, H Town, Ginuwine, Shai, Chante Moore, Michel’le & Hi-Five. Hosted by Bionce Foxx and Sundance with music by DJ Phantom!

The Chicago House Music Festival goes on all day today in Millennium Park wrapping up tonight at 9pm… admission is free!

Comedian DL Hughley performs at the Chicago Improv through tomorrow night. Check out his interview in the Chicago Sun-Times here!

And Lake Shore Drive will be shut down tomorrow to car traffic for Bike the Drive… so either find another way around or hop on two wheels and pedal yourself to enjoy the lakefront!

Whatever you choose, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
