2020's a banner year for our artists... The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced their inductees for 2020 this week. They include the incomparable Whitney Houston, hip hop icon Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls) and blue-eye soul band The Doobie Brothers. Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and T. Rex round out this year’s class.
The 35thannual induction ceremony will take place on May 2nd at the Rock & Roll HOF in Cleveland. It will be broadcast live on HBO at 7pm CT.
And the Songwriter's Hall of Fame also announced its inductees for 2020 this week and they include R&B legends The Isley Brothers, hip-hop producers The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo), Motown songwriter William "Mickey" Stevenson and superstar songstress Mariah Carey. The induction ceremony is scheduled in NYC on June 11th.
