Most of us are staying home and entertaining ourselves indoors because so many public events have been cancelled and so many venues are closed (see list and link below*). Netflix and Chill is real... but y’all just make sure you’re taking precautions if you don’t want to be part of the Corona baby boom in December and next January!
But here's something for us to look forward to when the 'Rona finally leaves us alone: Ravinia just announced its summer schedule and it's an amazing line up as always!
Brian McKnight, Musiq Soulchild and Ziggy Marley make their Ravinia debuts… Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, John Legend, Jill Scott, The Roots, Lauryn Hill and New Orleans jazz phenom Trombone Shorty all return this summer. (Shows and events will be delayed until June 1st with updates pending)
Tickets go on sale for donors beginning this Tuesday (3/17) and will go on sale to the public on April 28th and 29th. Find the entire schedule and ticket info here.
Whatever’s going on, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
(*And keep up with school closures and other cancellations, quarantines and closures with this list compiled by the Chicago Sun-Times.)
