Shout out to everybody making a difference in the world these days… thanks to you, Black Lives Matter is becoming the largest change movement in American history.
The New York Times recently analyzed data from several polls and the results show that the protests across the country, including here in Chicago, have drawn 15 to 26 million people into the streets. The biggest one day total happened on June 6th, when about a half million people turned out to make their voices heard at the same time.
In comparison, the sustained actions since the murder of George Floyd has dwarfed other, more coordinated protests like the Women’s March in 2017 or Million Man March back in 1995.
Changes keep happening everyday, and so do challenges… let’s keep our heads up and as always, remember to celebrate our magic! xo
