As the pandemic continues to threaten our health and economy, many people are still in need. And two recent Evanston Township High School alumni are giving back and helping to feed their community this weekend.
Grace Sarkor and Parker English are back home this summer and they've partnered with their former high school to host a food drive in the school parking lot at 1600 Dodge in Evanston.
If you want to donate, you can drop off non-perishables, cleaning supplies and other needs from 11:30am to 1:30pm today (Saturday 7/18/20)… and if you’re in need, stop by the same location to get what you need from 2-6pm this afternoon. You can find out more on their Facebook page, Instagram account and also donate to their online fundraiser here.
Thanks to my friend Heidi Stevens from the Chicago Tribune for telling these awesome young ladies’ story of service.
Go Grace & Parker… LOVE you for this!
