Bears safety Eddie Jackson is the epitome of kind-hearted Black People Magic.
Earlier this week, #39 reached out to the family of 8-year old Dajore Wilson, one of the latest children to fall victim to gun violence in Chicago and offered to pay for whatever they needed to lay her to rest.
Dajore’s funeral was yesterday and according to WGN News, she was the sixth child under the age of 10 to be shot and killed in Chicago since the end of June. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of her killer.
Blessings little one, and blessings to Eddie Jackson for helping her family say goodbye.
