They’re looking to hire and train people to be contact tracers to help in the fight to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re looking for full and part time workers… they are focused on 31 communities in the city hardest hit by the virus and are hiring from within the community. You have to be 18 years or older and having a background in customer service is a bonus. The pay is $20 an hour and supervisors will make $24 an hour. Good luck!
And Walmart is raising wages for about 165 thousand employees… the increase could be anywhere from $15 to $30 an hour and go into effect in October.
