Good news for music fans… Sade is FINALLY working on new material that will be out soon!
I called this one... but I had no idea if I was right or if I was just engaging in wishful thinking since I love her music and want to hear more... but Sade and her band are reportedly finishing up their first full length album in over a decade.
One of her bandmates confirmed they were in the studio a couple of years ago and another collaborator said the plan was to release the album this summer, but the pandemic slowed things down.
Now, word is they're still moving forward and finishing up the album. There still isn’t an official release date, but their recently released remastered vinyl project “This Far” that we talked about was definitely a teaser for it… along with a big feature in British GQ earlier this month.
A new album from the queen of smooth jazz and sultry R&B is exactly what this year needs!
