VOTE! Your Last Minute Guide in Chicago and Beyond

It’s coming down to the last few days… you can still vote early in Illinois and the official Election Day is Tuesday November 3rd.

Here are a few things to keep in mind: if you got an absentee or mail-in ballot but have not returned it, it is HIGHLY recommended that you drop it off at an early voting polling place. DO NOT mail it in, as it may not arrive in time to be counted and things are really up in the air if the higher courts will allow ballots delayed by the mail to be counted if it’s challenged.

The city has added ballot drop off boxes at Wrigley Field and Sox Park for you to drop off only on Tuesday – it should only be used by Chicago votes.

If you haven’t registered yet, it is not too late in Illinois… you can register up until Election Day at your polling place. Prepare yourself and vote in all the down ballot elections for judges – they are just as important, if not more so, as the presidential election. The United Center will also be open to Chicago voters on Election Day… to register and vote in person or drop off a ballot.

And click HERE for a resource guide to voting -- it answers every question you could have for the city and suburbs and beyond and thanks to our friends at Chicago Public Square for pulling it together -- subscribe to their newsletter too so you can stay updated on the day's news.

Whatever you do… vote like your life depends on it because it always has and it does!
