It’s back to inside for real FOR REAL this weekend as the Governor tightened up restrictions this week in an effort to contain the record breaking COVID numbers in the state. Basically, there’s no more dining inside restaurants or bars, group gatherings are limited to 25 people and non-essential businesses close at 11pm.

If you’ve been trying to figure out all the layers of meaning in the HBO series Lovecraft Country, including all its connections to Chicago… check out the Chicago History Museum’s new virtual series all day today featuring cultural and historical experts who will explain it all, take you on virtual tours and more. It runs from 11am to 6pm tonight and it’s all free! You may have to register for some sessions.

It’s Halloween today and Chicago Halloweek’s grand finale is a reverse trick or treat parade by Arts in the Dark where you can stay in your car and drive through the festivities in Washington Park at noon, 1 and 2pm today… it’s free but you have to register for all the fun!
