If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, some of your cousins in other areas have some treats for you online tonight!
Our friends to the north in Plymouth, Wisconsin – the cheese capital of the world, they say – are doing their annual Sartori cheese drop at midnight where they will do a countdown virtually with a giant wedge of cheese.
The North Carolina Blueberry festival is going virtual too… and this event is great for the kiddos that won’t make it til midnight. The town of Burgaw is dropping a giant lighted blueberry at 6pm our time.
And in Flagstaff, Arizona… a 6 foot tall lighted pine cone will bring in the new year online, continuing a celebration that honors the pine trees of the nearby Coconino National Forest.
It’s an unusual year, which calls for unusual celebrations… find our more about these and other strange celebrations at this link!
