If you’ve been waiting patiently for your vaccine… or procrastinating, no more excuses! ;)
President Biden has directed major cities and states to open vaccination eligibility to everyone 16 and older on April 19th… Governor Pritzker had already committed to doing that for Illinois residents effective this Tuesday, April 12th. Mayor Lightfoot says the city will be up to speed for this new phase by the 19th.
In the meantime, the governor is encouraging city residents to head to the suburbs to get the vaccine and Dr. Arwady said that the federal facilities operating just over the border in Indiana have had more vaccine than people taking it. I mean, we go there for gas, why not the shot?
