What's Happening Inside & Out: Chicago is OPEN!

The mayor opened up the city and it’s on and popping this weekend!

Navy Pier reopened yesterday, street festivals will resume this summer, and the United Center will open for games next week – the Bulls welcome fans back on May 7th and the Blackhawks on May 9th.

If you’re staying in, catch the Kentucky Derby live today on NBC… coverage begins at 1:30pm, post time around 5:57pm CT.

The Michelin Guide of top restaurants in the world just came out this week and Chicago has quite a few honors on the list, including Bib Gourmands for several black-owned restaurants: Ina Mae Tavern in Wicker Park, Soule in West Town and Virtue in Hyde Park.

And a new spot is opening in Bronzeville this summer… look out for Bronzeville Winery, the brainchild of The Silver Room owner Eric Williams and hospitality industry vet Cecilia Cuff at 44th and Cottage Grove.

Whatever you choose, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
