The Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2022 was announced this week and it’s full of Black People Magic!
In the category of Motion Pictures, our honorees are Michael B. Jordan, Regina King and Tessa Thompson.
In the category of television, our honorees are Byron Allen, Holly Robinson-Peete, Tracee Ellis Ross and Kenan Thompson.
In the category of recording, honorees include the Black Eyed Peas, George Clinton, Ashanti, DJ Khaled, Martha Reeves and Nipsey Hussle (posthumous).
And In the category of live performance, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr. will join the Walk of Fame and Michael Strahan will be honored in the category of Sports Entertainment.
Also look for last year’s class to get their honors in person soon, too... including Chicago’s own Marshall Thompson and the Chi-Lites. All honorees have up to 2 years to schedule their ceremony to enshrine their rightful places on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
