If you’re fully vaccinated, you can party for free with the Chosen Few DJs today… it starts at noon at the Kennedy King Baseball Field at 63rd and Halsted. Our own Bionce Foxx is your host and even though it’s free, you do need to register before you go and bring your vaccination card. It’s part of the city’s Protect Chicago initiative!
Get out into the great outdoors in the Palos Preserves… it was just named the world’s largest urban night sky place. Which means it’s a great location to keep your head to the sky near the city… where we usually can’t see many stars because of nighttime light pollution. The Forest Preserves and Adler Planetarium are rolling out programs including night hikes, camping and more so we can enjoy the night in a different way!
& the classic Chicago horror flick, Candyman returns to theaters only this weekend… I don’t do scary flicks, but people have been loving this sequel produced by Jordan Peele.
Whatever you choose, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
