Health officials are sounding the alarm… it’s about to be flu season and they’re predicting a rough one, now that we’re out and about along with COVID and the variants. They're calling it a twindemic.
Their recommendation is to get your flu shot, even if you’re one of those people who skip it every year. And the good news is, you can get the COVID vaccine at the same time so you won’t have to wait or go back an extra time.
The CDC would like to see most Americans get the flu shot by the end of October to prevent as many cases as possible… and avoid overwhelming hospitals still maxed out with Delta variant cases.
