Black people have been busy making history this week…
This season, “Monday Night Football” reporter Lisa Salters marks a milestone with the hit NFL show. The journalist has now logged over 150 assignments and is now in her 10th season with the show, making her its longest-running sideline reporter.
And when Miss Kentucky Elle Smith was crowned Miss USA earlier this week, she became the 3rd Black Woman in a row to win the competition. She will go on to represent our country as she competes in the Miss Universe competition later this month.
And Notre Dame Football has elevated defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman its next head coach. He’ll be officially introduced on Monday and will coach the Irish in their upcoming bowl game.
