Mayor Lightfoot announced yesterday that the city will welcome back the New Year's Eve Fireworks display along the lakefront and Chicago River, with eight separate launch sites along the River and at Lake Michigan near Navy Pier.
The fireworks display will be free to watch and the organizers say it will be the largest fireworks display in the city’s history… and one of the largest anywhere in the world.
You can check it all out safely outdoors… attendees are asked to mask up, maintain social distancing or you can watch it from home live on WGN TV.
