This week, Mayor Lightfoot and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced that after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Chicago's major spring and summer festivals will happen!
Events like Blues Fest and Jazz Fest will be back for four full days of music at the Pritzker Pavilion along with various neighborhood concerts. Taste of Chicago will run in Grant Park for 3 days in July with mainstage shows plus 3 neighborhood Taste experiences in June.
The Chicago Gospel Music Experience, Chicago House Music Experience, and more have been officially scheduled, along with a full Chicago Air and Water Show weekend plus 38 Sundays of the Maxwell Street Market!
