50 Cent Keeps Mo'Nique Winning, Casting Her in BMF

Hip-hop star and entertainment mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson announced recently that he’s kept a promise to back comedian and Oscar winning actress Mo’Nique. He just cast her in his latest hit series “BMF” on Starz.

The show is an American crime drama tv series, which follows the Black Mafia Family, a drug and money laundering organization. On the show, Mo’Nique will play Goldie, an Atlanta strip club owner who gets involved in helping the Flenory Brothers make it in a new city.

The casting comes just two months after 50 Cent first expressed a desire to help revive Mo’Nique’s acting career after she was blacklisted in Hollywood following the fallout over “Precious” with Tyler Perry and Oprah.

This is a great follow up to the news last month that Mo is reuniting with director Lee Daniels for the Netflix film, “Demon House.”
