It's another busy summertime Chi weekend!
You'll see lots of folks dressed up in their best cosplay for C2E2 this weekend at McCormick Place – Rosario Dawson and Billy Dee Williams are just a few of the stars who’ll be there for fans!
Today it’s the Bronzeville Neighborhood Jazz Fest starting at 11 am n King Drive from 37th to 39th street – live performances, local vendors, and it’s all free!
Today, it’s the Country Club Hills Funk Fest at the Amphitheater, starring Prince tribute band Purple Madness, Midnight Star, SOS Band and the one & only Morris Day and the Time! Gates open at 4 pm, showtime 5 pm and tomorrow, Regina Belle & Rahsaan Patterson will take the stage there at 6pm.
Tomorrow, The Spinners will be at the Des Plaines Theater at 5 pm.
This weekend, North Halsted Market Days celebrates its 40th anniversary along Halsted from Belmont to Addison. Live music on 5 stages, 200-plus unique vendors, arts, crafts, food and drinks!
Looking ahead to next week, on Thursday and Friday, Dave Hollister will be at City Winery Chicago, all the shows are sold out but you can join the waitlist online.
