This weekend’s 74th annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards brought big wins for the epic Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performance… Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent won the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) award – the first time the halftime show has ever won that category… and they brought home two other honors.
There was another first-time Emmy win… this one for late actor Chadwick Boseman. He won Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for his role as Star-Lord T’Challa in the animated series “What if ...?” based on the Marvel Comics. Chadwick's widow Taylor Simone Leward accepted the award for his final performance on his behalf.
You can catch The Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday, September 10th on FXX at 7 pm and it will stream on Hulu starting Sunday, Sept 11th.
