So many things to do this weekend for Thanksgiving and the holiday season!

Bring the whole family downtown for The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival starting today at 11am along Michigan Avenue from Oak Street to Wacker! The parade, led by Grand Marshalls Mickey and Minnie steps off at 5:30pm!

Ice skating opened yesterday in Millennium Park and at the ribbon at Maggie Daley Park. Admission is free on weekdays and at the 11am sessions Friday through Sunday. Bring your own skates or rent a pair on site.

A holiday tradition for so many, The Goodman Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol” is playing now through December 31st, celebrating its 45th year.

Tomorrow is The R&B Royalty Festival at The Tinley Park Convention Center with Howard Hewitt, Keith Washington, Tony Terry, Glenn Jones, Karyn White, Michel'le, Troop and Public Announcement.

Keke Wyatt takes the stage at City Winery tonight (waitlist only) and Kindred and the Family Soul will be there Tuesday and Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday (November 23), Navy Pier hosts Housegiving, a free house music celebration and indoor community festival featuring special DJ's including Farley JackMaster Funk plus performances from Chicago artists from 6:30 pm –1 am at the Aon Grand Ballroom. Guests can also make donations to help raise funds for solar power generators to those in need in Puerto Rico.

Whatever you choose, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
