I kind of love that this happened… but it's still big news that CNN missed the countdown to the New Year in the Central Time Zone Saturday night.
Host and Louisiana native Don Lemon was live in New Orleans and apparently backing that azz up to Juvenile when 2022 turned into 2023.
We know that drinking had nothing to do with it since CNN made a big deal about not allowing hosts to have any alcohol this year after past booze-filled broadcasts. Word is, Don was having trouble hearing cues from producers all night long.
But if you’re gonna miss something, anything… it should be because you’re having fun! And the New Year still came even though they didn't count it down!
