The new play, “Toni Stone” opens at the Goodman Theater tonight… it tells the true story of a black female baseball phenom who set out to become the first woman to play in baseball's Negro Leagues after being rejected by the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, because of her race. It runs through February 26th.
Tomorrow, celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rabbit with the annual parade in Chinatown! The parade steps off at 1 pm from 24th and Wentworth, featuring traditional dragon and lion dancing teams, colorful floats and marching bands.
