Community Connect, hooks you up and helps you out with resources you can use… and today’s it’s all about Black Wellness to round out Black History Month!
Today the Chicago Urban League hosts its 2nd Annual Black Wellness Fair from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at their headquarters on 4510 S. Michigan Avenue.
They’re encouraging and supporting good health for the whole family at all ages… with wellness resources and health screenings for heart, mental health, Alzheimer’s and dementias and vision as well as flu & COVID vaccinations and testing.
Get in on the music, food and raffle prizes including “Black Wellness Baskets” filled with health and wellness-focused items plus a fitness watch, gift cards and gym memberships. You can register for this free event and they also welcome walk ins.
Our community moves forward best when we get the help we need and give the help we can!
