Many of us are planning our Easter dinner for next weekend. For those who may need help putting food on the table, Pastor Darius Brooks and Grace Central Outreach and Church are distributing free Easter dinner boxes, plus other groceries and free Easter baskets. They expect to serve around 300 families. It’s all happening this Tuesday, April 4th from 5 to 7 pm at Grace Central Outreach, 10216 Kitchener Street in Westchester. It’s open to anyone on a first come, first serve basis, with drive though pickup. And you do need to bring and show your ID. See all the info on the flyer below.
And CPS students are on spring break next week and here’s a free resource to keep them entertained and learning… the Museums for All program provides free or reduced admission to families getting SNAP benefits. You just need to present your EBT card and a photo ID… around 30 museums in the Chicago area are participating, including Chicago Children’s Museum, Museum of Science & Industry, Field Museum & DuSable.
