What's Happening This Weekend: Derby, Spirits, Live Music & More

Some of y’all are still recovering from Cinco de Mayo yesterday, but let’s keep the party going… the “Run for the Roses,” the most exciting two minutes in sports, the Kentucky Derby is today at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. Coverage starts at 1:30 pm CT on NBC and Peacock.

The first Chicago Latino Spirits Fest is this weekend at the Logan Theater on Milwaukee… starting today at 11 am with some of the best Latino mixologists and winemakers in the industry, plus sample a variety of sought-after tequilas, rums, mezcals, sangrias and more. 

Next week, catch The O'Jays at the Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond next Friday and Saturday for the Last Stop on the Love Train Tour.

Also on Friday, Ruben Studdard takes the stage at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan.
