Help the children in your life get everything they need to get ahead at the Illinois Action for Children’s early childhood education and care resource fair. It’s today at the Southside YMCA, 6330 S. Stony Island Avenue in Chicago from 11am to 2pm. There will be activities and giveaways for the whole family at this free event plus resources available include developmental screenings, health services and more. Pre-register here or walk-ins welcome.
& The Anti-Cruelty Society’s 29th Annual BARK, Chicago’s oldest dog-friendly, outdoor fundraiser is today at Soldier Field starting at 8am. It’s a 2-mile walk along the lakefront followed by a dog-friendly party to support the Anti-Cruelty Society’s programs and rescues.
