November is National Family Caregivers Month, the month where we’re encouraged to recognize and honor people who take care of their family members and raise awareness of the issues, education and support needed in communities across the country.
The Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is contributing to the cause by welcoming your nominations for their Caregiver Award. They want to hear about all the outstanding, dedicated Alzheimer's and dementia caregivers who provide care here in Illinois… submit your nominees by November 30th and they could be receiving one of the awards at the Power of Purple: A Reason to Hope Luncheon at the Four Seasons in Chicago in March 2024. I’ll be at the event handing the awards out to some well-deserving honorees.
