The Obama Foundation has opened applications for the 2024-2026 Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service, funded by Airbnb Co-Founder & CEO Brian Chesky. The Voyager Scholarship provides college students with financial aid to help with college debt, meaningful travel experiences, and a network of mentors and leaders to support them throughout their careers. They’re accepting applications online through March 27th.
& Back to School America has opened nominations for their “We Appreciate Teachers” contest. 25 teachers in Illinois will be selected from the entries to receive Back 2 School kits for their classrooms to benefit students, gift basket of goodies, and will be guests of honor at a champagne reception during Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Submit your nominations through their website through April 1st.
