Celebrate Black History Month with the musical journey “1619: The Journey of a People,” today at 1:30 pm at Kennedy King College. It’s a series of performance pieces about the progress of America’s African sons and daughters.
Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon in the Uptown community with a parade down Argyle stepping off at 1pm today featuring performances and pop-ups. Plus there's also a parade and celebration showcasing traditional dragon and lion dancing teams, floats and more tomorrow in Chinatown at 1pm.
Monday, February 19th, join in a Presidents’ Day celebration for families at 360 Chicago in the John Hancock Center, 875 N. Michigan Ave from 9am-11pm. View the city from 1,000 feet in the sky as you “tilt” over the Magnificent Mile from 94 stories above. Plus they’ve got activities all day, including face painting, coloring stations, kiddie-cocktails and more. Each general admission adult ticket comes with a free admission for a child.
