It's the first weekend of April and it looks like it might feel like spring soon… let’s get into what’s happening this weekend:
Monday is the partial solar eclipse that we'll be able to see in Chicago's skies around 2pm CT... Adler Planetarium is hosting a viewing party along with DuSable Black History Museum and other locations across the city and state. You can watch it live on ABC and their streaming partners or online with NASA or here with the American Astronomical Society.

Today and every Saturday this month, Green City Market, Chicago’s premiere farmers market, returns to Lincoln Park (between Clark Street and Stockton Drive) with all the best produce and foods, fresh from Midwest farms.
Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Wonderverse Chicago is now open at Oakbrook Center… it’s full of activities from escape rooms to virtual reality based on popular franchises like Ghostbusters, Jumanji, and more. Opens daily at 11am.
Catch Titanic: The Exhibition at Old Orchard Shopping Center in Skokie through April 21st. It’s a narrative journey telling the story of the famous ship, complete with artifacts that survived the sinking, detailed recreations and more.
Tickets are on sale now for Batman 1989 – 35th Anniversary Concert, next Saturday April 13th at 7:30 pm at the Auditorium Theater… the screening of Warner Brothers Pictures’ iconic 1989 DC Superhero film Batman with a live accompaniment from the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra. Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite DC Superhero.
Tickets are also on sale for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returning to the Auditorium Theater Wednesday, April 17 – Sunday, April 21 for 65th Anniversary season, featuring new works and beloved classics including Ailey's masterpiece Revelations.
