Businessman & philanthropist Dr. Willie Wilson is back with goodies for the community… he already handed out $200,000 in aid to seniors yesterday and today, he’s giving away $50 in free gas and $25 grocery cards on a first come, first served basis at participating area gas stations and grocery stores, starting at 7am and rolling out through the morning hours.

Today is also the 4th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee & Resource Fair at Truman College from 12-2:30pm featuring community services, performances at the Culture Cafe Stage plus food, games, free barber services, and a DJ.
& Tomorrow is the 25th Annual Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk at 7:30 am at Long Field in Evanston. It’s the largest social justice run/walk event of its kind in the nation, bringing together thousands of people from all over the country to move in unity against racial hatred and violence.
