The 31st Annual African/Caribbean International Festival of Life starts today and runs through Sunday from noon-10 pm each day in Washington Park at 55th and Cottage Grove.
The Legends of the 70s kick things off today with Rose Royce, Stylistics featuring Van Fields, and Blue Magic. Tomorrow is the Chicago Music Awards honoring Fr. Michael Pfleger of Saint Sabina and featuring all of Chicago's best artists like Slique Jay Adams. Then it’s reggae and dancehall music Saturday and Sunday, plus Slave will close out the fest on Sunday night.
