Community Connect hooks you up and helps you out with resources you can use and this week, we've got free ways to celebrate Black History Month and Presidents’ Day!
On Monday, in honor of Presidents’ Day, the Chicago History Museum will be free for everyone from 10am-2pm. They’re offering family-friendly activities, art activities that reflect your social and political interests, and you can write a letter to the President of the United States to tell him what matters to you.

Next Friday, February 21st, The Metropolitan Peace Initiatives host their free Black History Month community event from 4-8pm at their location near Kedzie and Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park (3154 W. Chicago Avenue). Enjoy free refreshments, games, activities, resources and more!
