June is dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride, commemorating the contributions of queer culture and community and Navy Pier’s annual Pride celebration is today starting at 10am... it's a free celebration all day featuring live performances, educational activities and resources from local organizations.
Tomorrow is the 54th Annual Chicago Pride Parade, where 150 organizations parade along a 20-block route stepping off at 11am from Sheridan and Broadway, winding its way along Belmont, Halsted and ending at Diversey and Sheridan. It’s the finale of Chicago’s Pride Month with the theme, “United in Pride,” a tribute to the resilience and diversity of Chicago’s LGBTQ+ communities and focused on safety and continued support in the face of rising national challenges.
