Time for Community Connect, where we hook you up and help you out with resources you can use… hang out and enjoy the warm weather with free entertainment at a couple of community festivals today!
Check out the free Your Party Music Festival at the Metra Station Center in Richton Park from 1-9pm today. Live performances in every genre from gospel, blues, R&B, Latin Swing and more… including Mud Morganfield (Muddy Water’s son) and headliners multi-platinum R&B group Surface! Plus, food trucks, rock climbing, games, fitness & dance demos, face painting, raffle prizes, activities, and more! Bring your lawn chairs but no outside food, drinks or coolers. And head out to the free Englewood Music Fest hosted by 16th Ward Alderman Stephanie Coleman, today from noon-8pm at the baseball field at 64th & Halsted, featuring live performances from Next, Boosie (formerly Lil’ Boosie), gospel artist Le’Andria Johnson, Slique Jay Adams, and more!
