Today is Small Business Saturday so please get out and support our locally owned small businesses. I'm headed to Da Book Joint, 6900 S. Stony Island to celebrate their first anniversary at that space from 11am-7pm. The event is free for everyone. You can enjoy a coffee bar and pastries while you get gift wrapping, bookmarks and ornament decorating table while supplies last, plus lots of great deals, too! They have partnered with Accessorized Healing to feature handmade jewelry, plus they'll have plants, home goods and more with Black Plant Lovers. I will also be there doing a book signing and talking about my book Fearless Authenticity from 2-4pm. (see the flyer below for all the info or check this link)
