Steve Harvey not to return on 2 shows

Steve Harvey's daytime talk show has reached the end of the road and so has his time as host of "Little Big Shots."

Reports say the talk show "Steve" will air its last original episode in June. The decision was actually made last year when NBC inked a deal with Kelly Clarkson for her own daytime talk show. "The Kelly Clarkson Show" will air in the time slot that "Steve" has been in for the past 7 seasons.

Harvey's talk show was filmed in Chicago until the show was relocated to Los Angeles in 2017. "Steve" continuously delivered high ratings. This season about 1.8 million people watched the show every week. With ratings like that, the talk show was ranked #5 among other shows such as "Dr. Phil," "Maury," and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Thursday, May 16th, Harvey filmed his last episode. Originals episodes of the show will air through June and then reruns will be played until Kelly Clarkson's show starts in the fall.

Harvey will also no longer be the host on NBC's "Little Big Shots." The network announced that Melissa McCarthy will take his place. Harvey hosted the show for 3 seasons. There is no word yet on when the show is set to return.
